Did you ever get treated for your depression, if not getting treated and on a medication should help. If you where/are treated and on a medication checking your thyroid function tests woudl be a good place to start. Good luck.

This same thing occurs with me i.e. a loss of energy level. A great deal of it has to do with the time of year, more darkness. While sometimes its the hum drum ups and downs of everyday life. I'm on medication and have been ever since my first episode of major depressive disorder. The medications help but don't cure the problem, just minimize the symptoms.

What I find works best is to get a message and take jetted tub bath in a jacuzzi. Then get out and take a walk for about 20 minutes to a half hour and just enjoy your surroundings. A little exercise does help, even if you have to push yourself to begin initially. It improves the mood and increases your energy level.

Hi..I can definetley relate to you.I am a mother of 3 kids and married.I am the same way.It awful and very depressing in itself! I am not sure if you have resolved your problem but if not I would be glad to talk.Sometimes talking to someone with the same problems helps.I will tell you one thing for sure is yes get your thyroid checked and also try boosting your seritonin levels.(SUN) Lots of light really do help. Also start taking a vitamin B12 complex or even B50.
Good luck and wish you the best!...Michelle
