Depression

I think I have posted about the VNS before, but I am still looking to get information about this device. I have really bad seizures everyday (10-15) and the are becoming unbearable now. My doctor thinks the VNS will help, since it will help control it, but I am very scared about implanting a device in me. I've heard really good things but would appreciate as much information as i can get. If anyone knows about this please let me know. Thanks

if I remember correctly, this is the same implant that might be used for depression? I'm not sure. I thought I heard something about it being used in Canada.

I think it is the same implant used for depression. I believe the FDA just approved it to help teat depression. Thanks for the Cyberonics website. I'll definitely check that out as well.
